Weekly Music Ensemble (Enrollment required) Students in our weekly music ensemble class learn Hawaiian music arrangements for group performance, including rhythm, ‘ukulele fundamentals, harmonies, and Hawaiian language pronunciation. Musicians and singers of every skill level are welcome. Qualified music ensemble students may be invited to join our performance group, ‘AHAmele, which often plays at festivals, fundraisers and other community and hālau events. Monthly Music Workshops (Enrollment not required) Once a month (usually the 1st Sunday) we hold a “Hawaiian Music Workshop” — drop-in students of any skill level are welcome to join us to learn two Hawaiian songs, including strums and chord progressions.
