George Floyd’s life mattered! We at the Academy of Hawaiian Arts believe everyone has the right to safety, equality, and dignity, and we proudly stand with all those who are fighting inequality and injustice.
We are deeply humbled and grateful for the overwhelming aloha and support that the community has shown to us following the damage to our hālau on the night of May 31, 2020. Your generous donations will enable us to repair the broken doors and windows, and replace the stolen audiovisual equipment, in time to reopen for classes when the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
