Nonosina

Kumu Hula Mark Keali'i Ho'omalu and the Academy of Hawaiian Arts
welcome the award-winning Tahitian dance group
Nonosina
to the Bay Area for 2 nights of Tahitian dance workshops

Based in Anaheim, California, the award-winning Tahitian dance group, Nonosina, will teach two workshops next week at the Academy of Hawaiian Arts' studio in Oakland. This is a rare opportunity to learn from one of the most innovative and ground-breaking dance groups in Polynesian dance today. Nonosina has generously offered to conduct these special workshops at the Academy in support of AHA's 2009 Merrie Monarch fundraising effort.

Explore another part of Polynesia, close to home.... Learn the fundamental technique of Polynesian dance in Monday night's Beginning/Intermediate level class. Or, expand your Tahitian dance training in Tuesday night's Advanced level class.

These workshops will feature an intimate class size; space is limited. Call Anthony Barcinas at (831) 601-4913 to reserve your spot today!
